Free Comic Book Day May 5th Saturday

Space Cadets Collection Collection has thousands of free comic books to give away.

This is a charity event , so they are asking for donations of either $1 or a canned good in exchange for every three comics that customers would like to pick out.

Proceeds go to Nourishment for the Needy, a local food bank. Also, appearing are Chism Cornelison from this season of the Biggest Loser ( also, from the show his dad Mark and contestant Buddy may stop by). Chism’s band,My Side of the Story will be playing sets at 12 noon and 7 pm. Darth Vader will be there along with other Star Wars costumed characters and Houston Area Ghostbusters.

There will be a Jedi Training Academy.

Signing comics will be Bob Luedke (Eyewitness) , who will have awesome art prints for sale, and Patrick Scott (Archangels, Timestream and new unnamed project ).

Wear a costume and be eligible for prizes!
