My name is Daniel Scott Jr. Since my beginnings in Fort Worth, Texas, I’ve moved to a few places around the country and ended up in Southern California during my years of school and college. There in the foothills, I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 1997, receiving a BA in Art.
At APU, I began to create the mosaics, using candy and drink labels as a medium. Little did I know this idea would have such longevity in my career. Since then, I kept refining the idea, using just candy wrappers now. By default, I use a consistent and limited palette of colors.
