FCBD CREATOR SPOTLIGHT;
Cartoonist and educator Ben Humeniuk has been creating comics since 2005, illustrating the indie graphic novel MAKIN’ IT and winning student awards for his tenure at the BAYLOR LARIAT. Waking Life is my ongoing middle grade fantasy graphic novel series, published by Comicker Press. My graphic novel series The Magnificent Makers was released by PowerKids Press in August 2019. Four friends in an after-school Makers club navigate high school (and life!) by applying STEM principles and projects to real-world problems– with a dash of heart and comedy for good measure. Bro-D Can’t Be Broken, my first YA graphic novella, is a January 2022 release from Band of Bards.
